Core Faculty & Subspecialty Education Coordinator

Dr. Thai specializes in complex interventional cases such as patients with impaired heart function and those suffering from cardiogenic shock. He also performs high risk cardiac interventions such as reopening chronic total occlusion (CTO), left main interventions and in those patients who have been turned down for bypass surgery due to increased risks. He is interested in many new technologies emerging for cardiac care that allow physicians to better care for their patients.

Special skills include:

  • Interventional Cardiology
  • Catheterization, chronic total occlusion, angioplasty, coronary stents, intravascular ultrasound, rotational atherectomy, aortic stent grafts
  • Cardiac pacemakers and rhythm management
  • Prevention and risk management
